Graduate Diploma in Event Management with Work placement This course is designed to prepare you with the necessary skills to successfully undertake a master’s level course. You will develop the critical thinking and analysis skills that will be crucial to your success on a master’s course. You will be supported in your placement search. Payments during the placements are near the national minimum wage and may not cover living costs. The value of a placement is to develop your understanding of the industry. Course content You will study: - Operations Management - Critical Thinking - International Business Environment - Research and Study Skills - Entrepreneurship in Hospitality and Tourism - Understanding the Event Industry. Entry criteria Any Degree IELTS 6.0 overall and a (UKBA required) minimum of 5.5 for each of the 4 individual components (Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening). On course completion Study progression On successful completion of this course, you can choose to progress on to MA Fundraising and Special Events Study mode Full-time Duration: One academic year plus a work placement of a maximum of 24 weeks.
